NICK SPANGLER

Nick is currently making his Off-Broadway debut in The Fantasticks (Mute, Matt u/s) at the Snapple Theatre Center.  Beginning July 30, he will be taking over the role of Matt.   

Nick's Regional credits include Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Matt in The Fantasticks (both at The Gateway Playhouse); Doody in Grease and Ephraim in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (both at Forrestburgh Playhouse); Chris in Miss Saigon, Tommy in Tommy, Will in Will Rogers Follies, Riff in West Side Story, and Buddy in Sideshow (San Jose's Montgomery Theatre);  Sparky in Forever Plaid - won the ERMA award for Outstanding Actor (West Valley Light Opera); B.J. Gibson in 1940's Radio Hour (Sunnyvale Players); and Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (Saratoga Drama Group).

Nick is currently enrolled at New York University where he has appeared in numerous productions including Bat Boy in Bat Boy The Musical and Jamie in The Last 5 Years.  Nick is a proud member of AEA.

  

SCOTT SUSSMAN

Scott Sussman is currently the resident host of the Off-Broadway hit The Awesome 80's Prom in the role of DJ Johnny Hughes.

A New York native, Scott works as an actor, stand-up comedian and events entertainer throughout the New York area.  Favorite regional credits include Les Miserables (Pioneer Theatre Company), Jesus Christ Superstar (North Shore Music Theatre), Ragtime (Papermill Playhouse), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ogunquit Playhouse).  Recent stand-up appearances include Caroline's on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, Laugh Factory, New York Improv, and Therapy Bar.

Scott received his BS in Communications from Northwestern University (majoring in theatre).  He serves as the Membership Chair on the board of the New York division of the Northwestern University Entertainment Alliance (NUEA-East,  www.nuea.org).  Scott co-founded their bi-annual event, Brite Nite, a concert showcasing alumni in New York City originally held at Brite Bar - hence the name.

Scott next appears as Tony in the Fulton Theatre's 50th Anniversary production of West Side Story in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

TOM WALKER

Tom Walker, a graduate of Kutztown University (PA), has been acting professionally in New York for about two years.  Most recently, he was seen in "The Gamekillers" (as "The One Upper") on MTV and in the "AXE DRY" commercials.  He also appeared in the films The Producers (2005) and The Manchurian Candidate (2004). Commercial credits include: Denis Leary's X-Mas Special," MTV, FUSE, SpikeTV, Arby's, A&E, NY1 and Comedy Central.  Other credits include: various musicals at The Bucks County Playhouse (PA), Italian American Cantos (Off-Broadway, 2004), The Exciting Life (2006 Samuel French Finalist) and The Seagull.

RYAN WARD

Ryan's stage credits include Evil Dead 1&2: The Musical at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Crazy Gar's Mobile Disco (N.A. Premiere, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre), Fusion (DNA Theatre), Place To Be: The Nick Drake Project (Toronto Underground Renaissance) and A Funny Thing Happened … and Big Love (staged by Dora nom. director Eda Holmes).  Film credits include: Sidekick w/ Daniel Baldwin, The Little Guide to Follicular Manipulation, Nature of Wildlife (Winner, 2006 Toronto 24-hr. Film Challenge), FILMdzama (Best Short Film 2001 Toronto Intn’l Film Festival) and Bioexis, an animated pilot (aired on CBC in early 2006).  Ryan started Reborn Films and has written/directed the short  films Rebirth and The Fighter.  Both have shown at film festivals in the US and Canada.  He has written, performed and toured his plays Würn and Noctürnal Müsical (Most Innovative Production, 2002 Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival) throughout Canada.  His first feature film, Sunshine, is in development with Lost Horses Film Co.  He holds a BFA in Acting from Ryerson Theatre School.

RYAN WILLIAMS

JOSH YOUNG

Joshua Paul Young was born on May 10th 1980 in Columbia, South Carolina. Josh and his parents, Judith and Russell, moved to Wallingford, Pennsylvania when Josh was only two years old. That same year sister Dena was born, and four years after that came brother Douglas.

Josh attended both The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr as well as Strath Haven High School. At the age of twelve, Josh theathrical training began at the Media Theatre, and he began studying voice at the Voice Foundation of Philadelphia. He continued to train and perform at Upper Darby Summer Stage and Young People's Theatre Workshop (YPTW) at The Player's Club of Swathmore. Towards the end of Josh's high school career, he gained acceptance to the prestigious Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts in Voice in Drama. Upon graduation from The Governor's School, Josh attended the summer at Ithica College for Musical Theatre. The following fall, Josh began his college career at Syracuse University's Department of Drama. Josh graduated in May of 2003 with a BFA in Musical Theatre.

After performing extensively at regional theatres and on tour with Les Misérables, Josh settled down in NYC. In his first 5 months in the city Josh was involved in 3 Off-Broadway workshops, as show in the premiere of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, 3 recordings, and 3 star studded benefit concerts.

 

Josh is currently traveling the world playing Tony with the International Tour of West Side Story.
