James has appeared on Broadway in Pippin (Lewis, Pippin u/s) and Hairspray (Sketch, Link u/s). 

James has appeared Off-Broadway in Altar Boyz (Matthew, Luke).  His National Tour credits include Pippin (Lewis, Pippin u/s), Hairspray (Sketch, Link u/s) and Mamma Mia! (Sky u/s).  Regional credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Musical Theatre of Wichita), Zanna Don't (Kimmel Center, Philadelphia), Miss Saigon (AMTSJ), Footloose (Sacramento Music Circus and Moonlight Amphitheatre), The Sound of Music (Sacramento Music Circus and AMTSJ), Forever Plaid (San Diego Resident Company), Les Miserables (Theatreworks/USA - NYC), Fiddler on the Roof (Sundance Theatre), Cinderella (Sundance Theatre), The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (Sundance Theatre), Children of Eden (Musical Theatre West), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Musical Theatre West), The Garden (Inland Theatre Guild), Dancing at Lugnasa (Margetts Arena Theatre),  and Empty Spaces (AASD Festival - St. Cecilia's Theatre).  James was also a member of the 1994 and 1997 International Tours of The Young Ambassadors.  His Film/Television credits include Passions, The Chronicle, Rosie O'Donnell Show, Star Child and Top Dog.

James will next be appearing in Matthew Passion, Thursday, March 29, 2007 through Sunday, April 8, 2007.  After finishing Matthew Passion, he will head to Long Beach, CA to play Matthew in the regional premier of Altar Boyz for Musical Theatre West.  He tentatively plans to join the tour of All Shook Up later this summer.  Just in time...James and his wife are expecting their first child in August 2007.

  

SUSAN EGAN

Susan Egan has traversed all four corners of the entertainment industry, making powerful impressions in theatre, film, television and music.  Most recently, Susan starred on Broadway as Thoroughly Modern Millie.  She has also won critical acclaim as Broadway’s (longest-running) “Sally Bowles” in Cabaret, in Triumph of Love and State Fair, and most notably, as the original “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, garnering Tony and Drama Desk nominations.  Regionally, Egan starred alongside Carol Burnett in Putting It Together and Tommy Tune in the national tour of Bye, Bye Birdie. Film credits include: 13 Going on 30, Man of the Century (Slamdance Audience Award), Death and Texas (Slamdance/Seattle Film Festivals, 2004), The Almost Guys (HBO Comedy/Boston Film Festivals 2004), Meet Market (Sarasota Film Festival, 2004), and The Third Wish (2005 release). In Animation, Susan voiced the characters of “Meg” in Disney’s Hercules, “Lin” in the Academy Award-winning Spirited Away, “Gina” in the latest Miyazaki release Porco Rosso, and “Angel” in Lady and the Tramp II. On television, Susan spent two seasons on WB’s Nikki, starred in Gotta Kick It Up for Disney Channel, and has guest-starred on NUMB3RS, NYPD Blue, Arli$$, Drew Carey, Party of Five, Great Performances, and more.  Egan has sung with 30 symphonies nationwide and will spend 2005-6 touring the country with her solo concert.  She has over 40 recording credits, including three solo CDs.
